I recently had the full-arch dental implant procedure done at Smith Dental, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the initial consultation to the final follow-up, the entire experience was top-notch. Dr. Smith and his team were incredibly knowledgeable and caring throughout the process.

He earned his B.S. in Business Management from Brigham Young University, graduated summa cum laude with his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Temple University School of Dentistry, and completed his pediatric specialty training at NYU-Langone in Yakima, WA. Dedicated to continued learning, he is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Outside the office, Dr. Rees enjoys mountaineering, snowboarding, dirt biking, and traveling to new places with his wife and children.
Dr. Hamilton finds great joy in helping children embrace their best selves while providing quality oral healthcare to families in the Tri-Cities. He earned his bachelor’s degree in natural science from the University of Puget Sound, his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. A lifelong learner, he stays current with the latest techniques and technologies to ensure comfortable, efficient, and effective care. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Society, and Benton Franklin County Dental Society. Known for his warm, approachable style, Dr. Hamilton connects with patients by learning about their interests, singing to younger children, and sharing high-fives, while also serving Spanish-speaking families with the fluency he gained during two years in Ecuador. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys reading, watching movies, attending sporting events, playing guitar, and—most of all—spending time outdoors with his family.

Dr. Collette’s favorite part of being a pediatric dentist in the Tri-Cities is promoting good oral health and connecting with patients—often with a magic trick or two. He earned his B.S. in neuroscience from Brigham Young University, graduated summa cum laude with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry, and completed his pediatric specialty training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio. An active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, he is dedicated to prevention, education, and community involvement. Dr. Collette and his wife are grateful to raise their five children in the Tri-Cities, where he enjoys skiing, hiking, team sports, and, most of all, traveling with his family.
Dr. Morris is passionate about making dental visits a fun and positive experience for children while helping them build a lifelong foundation of good oral health. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University, his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, cum laude, from UCLA School of Dentistry, and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee. An active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, he is committed to prevention, education, and ensuring every child leaves with a healthy smile and greater confidence. Originally from Provo, Utah, Dr. Morris and his wife, Cheryl, are grateful to raise their three children in the Tri-Cities, where he enjoys outdoor adventures, fly-fishing, sports, and most of all, time with his family.

Yes, it's fairly common for children to grind their teeth, especially during sleep, as a response to stress, discomfort, or as a natural part of their dental development. However, if the grinding is frequent or causing damage, it's worth consulting a dentist.
You can teach your child the importance of brushing by making it fun, using colorful toothbrushes or toothpaste, and explaining how brushing keeps their teeth strong and their smile healthy. Positive reinforcement, like praise or rewards, can also help encourage regular brushing habits.
Your child should use a fluoride toothpaste that is specifically designed for their age, with a pea-sized amount for children under 6, to help prevent cavities and protect their developing teeth. Make sure the toothpaste is safe to swallow, as younger children may not be able to spit it out.
We fill cavities in baby teeth to prevent pain, infection, and further damage, which can affect the development of permanent teeth and overall oral health. Healthy baby teeth also help with proper chewing, speech development, and maintaining space for adult teeth.
